In this song Dave rebukes those who are living in a fake ‘better than all the rest’ world, and firmly declares that he won’t join them.
This was the original "side band" of Relient K's former drummer, Dave Douglas.
Those who only know Dave as a drummer, however, should rightfully be amazed at his broad talent; he does everything on these songs. And by everything, we mean everything— he's not only a good drummer, he's a good singer (doing all the vocals), he plays every instrument you hear in these songs (excellently, at that!), and he also recorded, mixed, and produced these songs by himself. Talent, indeed!
The Agnes songs that were released are all exclusively on a compilation album; we review them below.

Lyrically, this song is a wake-up call— how far down and out of control can the culture go? The good restraints are apparently gone… unless we do something about it. Interestingly, Dave only does a fraction of the chorus at first; after that, it musically expands quite a bit. “The Brakes” is another great song.

In this song Dave speaks of wanting to change, and refusing to live inside mistakes. This song is the best example of his talent on guitar, especially near the end, when it becomes very fast Melodic playing. “Gravity” is an excellent song and we’re glad it was released.
